About the Firm

Founded in 1974 in the historic district of Newburyport, Massachusetts. ADC began as a small homegrown firm, with the goal of accommodating local citizens and businesses of the North Shore. We have since expanded and now have clients in over 35 states across the US. Our staff includes accounting experts, each with their own unique area of focus to meet your everchanging needs.

Led by Principal and President Keith Congdon’s vision and commitment to creating a CPA firm for today’s economy, in 2017, ADC purchased Moker CPA. A CPA firm specializing in accounting for government grant and contracts awardees. The acquisition doubled the size of the firm, which gave us the ability to better serve our clients.

Fast forward to today, our firm specializes in commercial and government clients of all shapes and sizes. Ambrosi Donahue Congdon takes a personalized approach to its audit, bookkeeping, tax and financial consulting services.

Our mission is to provide proactive, one-on-one service to every client, whether you are an individual, the owner of an S or C corporation, or a director of a nonprofit organization.  We believe in a simple, balanced approach that not only helps you to mitigate risk and exposure but one that also uncovers ways to achieve your financial goals.  We proactively look for opportunities to solve problems, add value and provide creative strategies.

Each member of our team personifies this commitment.  They are experts at what they do, combining extensive accounting knowledge with the latest in auditing and accounting technology. And of course, they are proficient in the latest federal, state and international tax regulations and developments.
